hallowen...AFI

AFI (A Fire Inside) is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. The band started with a hardcore punk style, the hand of a major surge in the early 90's in California, with typical songs of the genre, barely two minutes long and influenced by bands like The Misfits and Dead Kennedys. In addition, for his second studio album, Very Proud of Ya, AFI signed with Nitro Records, one of the major record U.S. punk rock. However, Black Sails in the Sunset released in 1999, the band began to develop a more elaborate music with gothic music trends of the 80s and electronics, influenced largely by the arrival of Jade Puget. With The Art of Drowning and Sing the Sorrow, the band was confirmed as a band mature and a more experimental rock, while also arrived on the Billboard chart and signed by a multinational. In concert, as on the DVD I Heard a Voice, it reveals the Gothic paraphernalia and spectacular sunsets over the sound and lighting California band.

AFI Davey Havok was born when Mark Stopholese, Adam Carson and Vic Chalker, being in school in Ukiah, California, formed a project in 1990 to play alternative music. [4] At that time the band had no drummer nor experience in play instruments. Stopholese then suggested his friend Adam Carson would join because he had a drum set. Stopholese learned to play guitar, Chalker did the same with the bass and in 1993 released the EP Dork with the now defunct Loose Change, which included future AFI guitarist Jade Puget. [5] However Chalker lost interest and was replaced by bassist-composer Geoff Kresge.

AFI disbanded when its members went to different universities, including University of California at Berkeley (where Havok started but never finished his studies) and the University of California at Santa Barbara. Later reunited to perform together again, making them change their minds and left the university to devote himself full time to the band. Between 1993 and 1995 the band appeared in numerous EPs and vinyl shared and Behind the Times; Eddie Picnic's All Wet; This Is Berkeley Not West Bay; AFI / Heckle; Bombing the Bay Fly in the Ointment, two of them together with other hardcore bands like Heckle and Swingin 'Utters.
